Counselling supervision
I have been in Counselling practice for more than 20 years and have been supervising Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Supervisors and other Professionals in the helping professions for more than 15 years. This has been in both the Private Practice setting and within a BACP Accredited Counselling. I have experience of managing and supervising Counsellors from a range of modalities including, but not limited to: Integrative, Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural and Transactional Analysis.
I have also had the privilege of working with Counsellors practising at different stages in their development, from those in training, offering counselling for the first time in voluntary placements, to highly qualified and experienced practitioners working either with extremely challenging caseloads or in challenging settings e.g. within Prison Services.
Over the years I have supported a number of Counsellors in their successful accreditation with BACP by providing mentoring through the process and by reviewing applications before submission.
